[서울=뉴시스] 남빛나라 기자 = 김정은 북한 국무위원장이 러시아의 국경일인 '러시아의 날'(6월12일)을 맞아 블라디미르 푸틴 대통령에게 축전을 보냈다.

11일 북한 대외매체 조선중앙통신은 김 위원장이 "러시아 국경절에 즈음해 푸틴 대통령 동지에게 축전을 보내시었다"고 보도했다.

신홍철 주러시아 북한 대사가 러시아 외교부 인사를 만나 축전을 '정중히' 전달했다고 통신은 전했다.

러시아의 날은 소련 붕괴 전 해인 1990년 6월12일 러시아공화국이 국가주권 선언을 채택한 것을 기념하는 날이다.

김 위원장은 매년 러시아의 주요 국경일인 러시아의 날을 계기로 푸틴 대통령에게 축전을 보내 양국 관계발전을 강조해왔다.

올해는 푸틴 대통령이 이르면 이달 중 방북할 수 있다는 러시아 매체 보도가 나온 상황인 만큼 축전 내용에 더욱 관심이 쏠린다.통신은 축전 전문을 공개했던 전례와 달리 이번엔 구체적인 내용을 언급하지 않았다.

10일(현지시각) 러시아 베도모스티는 외교 소식통을 인용해 푸틴 대통령이 이르면 이달 초 북한과 베트남을 방문할 예정이라고 보도했다.방북이 성사된다면 지난해 9월 북러 정상회담 직후 푸틴 대통령이 김 위원장의 답방 초청을 수락한 지 9개월 만이다.푸틴 대통령의 평양 방문은 불법 군사협력에 기반한 북러 밀착을 심화하는 계기가 될 것으로 보인다.
