(창원=연합뉴스) 이정훈 기자 = 박완수 경남지사는 8일 "수도권에서 이격거리에 따라 지방교부세,파칭코 사이트 인포각종 특구 인센티브를 차등화해야 한다"고 밝혔다.

박 지사는 이날 전북 무주군 태권도원에서 열린 제18회 영호남 시도지사 협력회의에 참석해 지방교부세·특구 인센티브 차등화를 대한민국 균형발전에 필요한 정책으로 제시했다.

박 지사는 "1960년도 영호남 인구는 대한민국 인구의 절반 이상인 56%를 차지했으나 현재는 34%로 추락했다"고 지적했다.

그러면서 "'일극체제' 수도권에 대응해 어떻게 발전하고 도약할 것인지가 영호남 최우선 과제"라고 강조하며 "수도권에서 얼마나 떨어졌는지를 기준으로 정부가 지방교부세,파칭코 사이트 인포특구 인센티브를 차등화해야 한다는 의견을 냈다.

부산·대구·광주·울산·전북·전남·경북·경남 8개 시도 지사·시장,파칭코 사이트 인포부단체장이 이날 회의에 참석했다.

이들은 남해안 섬 개발 때 절차 완화·특례를 부여하는 내용으로 경남도가 개정 필요성을 제기한 '섬 발전 촉진법' 개정등 공동 현안을 8개 협력과제로 채택했다.
