19일 롯데쇼핑은 신영자씨가 5월14일(변동일 기준) 2만2천899주 매도를 시작으로 최근까지 17차례 매도와 8차례 매수 등 25차례에 걸쳐 주식을 사고팔아 21만10주를 매각했다고 공시했다.

신씨의 롯데쇼핑 보유주식은 29만7천653주(1.05%)에서 8만7천643주(0.31%)로 줄었다.

이와 관련해 롯데재단 측은 "상속세 납부를 위해 주식을 매도한 것으로 안다"고 전했다.

2020년 1월 신격호 명예회장 사망 후 상속인인 신영자 전 롯데장학재단 이사장과 신동주 SDJ코퍼레이션 회장(전 일본 롯데홀딩스 부회장),스테파노 피올리신동빈 롯데그룹 회장,스테파노 피올리신유미 전 호텔롯데 고문 중 신동빈 회장이 회사별 상속 지분의 41.7%,스테파노 피올리신영자 전 이사장이 33.3%를 상속받았다.

신씨의 롯데쇼핑 지분은 0.74%에서 상속에 따라 1.05%로 늘었다가 이번 매각으로 0.31%로 낮아졌다.

신씨는 본래 롯데장학재단과 롯데삼동복지재단,스테파노 피올리롯데복지재단의 이사장을 모두 맡아서 운영하다 2018년 재판받으면서 사임했다.

현재 그의 딸인 장혜선씨가 롯데장학재단·롯데삼동복지재단 이사장을 맡고 있다.
