(서울=뉴스1) 김예원 기자 = 밀양 집단 성폭행 사건 피해자 생계비 지원을 위한 모금액이 후원 5일 만에 1억 원을 넘어섰다.후원금은 전액 피해자의 생계비로 사용된다.

한국성폭력상담소는 밀양 성폭행 사건 피해자 생계비 지원을 위한 모금액이 18일 오후 2시 16분 현재 1억 217만 6555원 모였다고 밝혔다.총 2673 명이 후원금을 냈다.

한국성폭력상담소는 앞서 13일 피해자 일상 회복을 위해 모금 활동을 시작했다.모금액은 전액 소진될 때까지 매월 정액제 방식으로 피해자에게 지급된다.

밀양 집단 성폭행 사건은 2004년 경남 밀양에서 남고생 40여 명이 1년 가까이 여중생을 성폭행한 사건이다.가해자들은 소년법 등의 적용을 받아 전원 형사처벌을 피했지만 최근 일부 유튜브 채널이 '정의 구현'이라는 이유로 이들의 신상을 공개했다.
