앞서 애플은 지난 10일 세계개발자회의(WWDC24)에서 비전프로의 해외 출시 일정을 공개한 바 있다.중국과 홍콩,일본,싱가포르에서는 28일 공식 출시했다.또 호주,캐나다,프랑스,독일,영국에서는 선주문을 진행 중이며 내달 12일 공식 출시한다.

미국 IT(정보기술) 매체 네오윈(Neowin)이 지난 29일(현지시각) 환율을 기준으로 전체 판매국의 출고가(할인 프로모션 등 제외)를 미 달러(USD)로 환산한 결과,비전프로를 가장 싸게 구입할 수 있는 곳은 애플의 본고장 미국이었다.출고가는 3499달러(약 484만원)이었다.

미국 다음으로 저렴한 곳은 홍콩으로 3585.41달러(496만원)에 구입할 수 있었고 △캐나다 3650.37달러(504만원) △일본 3727.67달러(515만원) △싱가포르 3906.66달러(540만원) 등이 비교적 저렴한 편이었다.

비전프로 출고가가 가장 높은 곳은 영국으로 4425.89달러(612만원)로,슬롯머신 저금통 점보미국 대비 26.5%가량 비쌌다.△프랑스와 독일 4287.13달러(592만원) △중국(본토) 4127.94달러(570만원) △오스트레일리아 4010.93달러(554원) 등도 비교적 출고가가 비싼 축에 속했다.

비전프로는 올 2월 미국에서 공식 판매가 시작된 후 MR 헤드셋을 넘어 '공간컴퓨팅'을 실현할 애플의 야심작으로 주목받았다.그러나 비싼 가격과 불편한 착용감,부족한 콘텐츠,배터리 문제 등으로 대중화까지는 갈 길이 멀다는 평가를 받고 있다.

이에 애플은 WWDC24를 계기로 비전프로 출시를 세계 주요 시장으로 확대하며 반전을 꾀하고 있다.다만 한국의 경우,시장의 예상과 달리 미국 이후 비전프로 1차 출시 국가에서 제외된 바 있다.
