경북 영천 금호강 주요 지점에 홍수특보가 잇따라 발령됐다.

10일 영천시에 따르면 낙동강홍수통제소는 이날 오전 8시 금호강 자호천 단포교 지점에 홍수주의보를 내렸다.

이어 오전 8시 20분 금호강 영동교 지점에 홍수주의보를,한화이글스 야구 예매오전 9시 20분에는 금창교 지점에 홍수경보를 각각 발령했다.

이들 3개 지점은 홍수특보 발령 당시보다 수위가 낮아지기는 했으나 오전 11시 30분 현재 단포교 2.52m,한화이글스 야구 예매영동교 3.17m,한화이글스 야구 예매금창교 4.25m로 평소 대비 높은 수위를 유지하고 있어 피해 우려는 여전하다.

영천에는 지난 8일부터 이날 오전 6시까지 최대 270mm,평균 150mm 이상의 폭우가 내렸다.

이로 인해 오미동 오미부대 앞 의머리못 주변 도로가 침수돼 교통이 전면 차단되는 등 78건의 크고 작은 피해가 발생해 복구작업을 하고 있다.

영천시 재난안전대책본부는 "호우경보가 지속됨에 따라 하천 주변 산책로와 계곡,한화이글스 야구 예매급경사지,농수로 등 위험지역에 접근하지 말고 위험 징후 발견시 즉시 대피하는 등 안전에 유의해 달라"고 당부했다.
