[청양=뉴시스] 청양군 천장호 하늘향기 마을 조성사업 조감도.(조감도= 청양군 제공) *재판매 및 DB 금지[청양=뉴시스] 조명휘 기자 = 충남 청양군은 2024년도 국토부 지역수요 맞춤형 지원사업에 '천장호 하늘향기 마을 조성사업'이 선정됐다고 15일 밝혔다.

천장호 하늘향기 마을 조성사업은 국비 25억원 등 50억원을 투입해 차별화된 숙박시설 등을 조성하는 사업이다.

군은 현재 117억원을 들여 천장호 일원에 추진 중인‘천장알프스지구 관광 인프라 확충사업'과 충남도 제2단계 2기 균형발전사업인 270억원 규모의 '백제 숲 힐링 복합단지조성사업'과 연계해 시너지 효과를 기대하고 있다.

국토부의 지역수요 맞춤형지원사업은 지역의 고유자원을 활용해 관광지원을 통해 지역에 활력을 불어넣는 사업이다.

김돈곤 군수는 "칠갑산,한화이글스 야구장 좌석천장호출렁다리 기존 관광자원과 사전 부지확보로 사업추진 효율성 등에서 좋은 평가를 받아 공모사업에 선정됐다"면서 "기존 관광자원과 연계해 관광객 유치는 물론 생활인구 유입에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대한다"고 했다.
