황민성 삼성증권 연구원은 이날 '인공지능(AI)이 뜬다는데 삼성전자는 언제 올라요?'라는 제목의 보고서에서 삼성전자 주가에 대해 “단기간에 크게 올라도 이상하지 않다”고 봤다.

지난달 28일 삼성전자 목표주가를 12만원으로 올려 잡은 황 연구원은 “삼성전자의 HBM3E가 예정된 기한 내로 고객사(엔비디아)의 인증을 통과할 가능성이 크다고 판단한다”며 “예정된 기한이라면 8단 제품은 6월까지고 12단 제품은 3분기 내 통과가 돼야 한다.오히려 격차가 늘고 있다는 것은 잘못된 판단”이라고 봤다.

이어 “투자가들은 삼성전자의 HBM3E 전력 소비가 경쟁사 대비 높다는 점을 지적하지만 이는 소프트웨어(SW) 호환성이나 발열로 사용이 어려웠던 HBM3 문제와는 다르다”면서 HBM3E 12단 인증은 메모리 3사(삼성전자,SK하이닉스,마이크론) 모두 이달 내부 인증 절차를 거쳐 8∼9월 고객 인증이 예상된다고 설명했다.오히려 삼성전자가 먼저 납품을 시작할 가능성도 있다고 봤다.
