(서울=연합뉴스) 임성호 기자 = 국토교통부 대도시권광역교통위원회(대광위)는 '제4차 대도시권 광역교통시행계획' 사업에 6개 사업을 추가·변경하는 방안을 마련했다고 30일 밝혔다.

대도시권 광역교통시행계획은 광역교통 시설의 확충과 광역교통 체계의 효과적인 개선을 위해 국토부가 5년 단위로 세운다.

지난 2021년 수립한 4차 계획은 내년까지 적용된다.

이번 계획안에는 그간 '추가 검토사업'이었던 서울 지하철 5호선 김포·검단 연장(서울 방화역∼인천 검단신도시∼김포 한강신도시) 사업을 '본사업'으로 바꾸는 안이 포함됐다.

이는 사업의 추진 필요성을 인정해 국가 교통계획으로 확정하고,퍼스트카지노 가입쿠폰예비타당성조사 면제 등을 통해 신속한 진행에 나서겠다는 취지라고 국토부는 설명했다.
