그룹 총수 일가에 이른바 '통행세'를 몰아줘 부당지원한 LS그룹 계열사들에 대해 과징금 180억 원가량을 취소해야 한다는 대법원 판단이 나왔습니다.

대법원은 지난달 25일,크나우프공정거래위원회가 LS그룹 4개 계열사에 부과한 과징금 259억 원 가운데 189억 원을 취소한 항소심 판결을 확정했습니다.

대법원은 LS그룹의 불공정 거래 행위를 인정하면서도 공정위가 과징금을 산정하는 과정에 문제가 있다고 본 원심 판단을 받아들였습니다.

지난 2018년 공정위는 LS계열사들이 전선 원재료 거래에 총수 일가가 대주주인 LS글로벌을 끼워 넣고 중간 이윤을 추가하는 방식으로 '통행세'를 몰아줘 200억 원 넘는 일감을 지원했다고 판단하며 과징금 259억6천만 원을 부과했습니다.
