[파이낸셜뉴스] 리츠업계가 정부의 리츠(REITs·부동산투자회사) 활성화 방안에 대해 환영한다는 입장을 내놨다.

17일 한국리츠협회는 보도자료를 통해 "지난 17일 정부가 발표한 대책은 그간 업계에서 애로를 겪어왔던 사항을 대부분 해소하는 내용"이라며 "제도 발전에 크게 도움이 될 것"이라고 밝혔다.

협회는 "부동산 개발 이익을 국민이 공유할 수 있도록 하는 리츠 도입으로 리츠의 개발 사업 참여 활성화가 기대된다"며 "리츠 자산 재평가를 활성화하고 공모 리츠와 공모 예외 리츠 간 합병을 허용하면서 리츠 대형화의 초석이 마련됐다"고 평가했다.

인가 소요 기간의 단축 및 보고·공시 부담 완화,뉴발란스 야구 글러브재투자를 위한 자금유보 허용 등의 정책에 대해서도 업계에서 지속해 요청해왔던 사항이라며 환영의 뜻을 밝혔다.

협회는 "이자율 등 거시경제 지표만 긍정적인 방향으로 변화된다면 이번 방안과 맞물려 국내 리츠 시장이 선진국과 대등한 위치에 올라설 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 예상한다"면서 "리츠 업계도 이번 대책의 개선사항을 기반으로 리츠와 자산관리회사의 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 경영을 통해 부동산 산업 선진화와 국민소득 증진을 위해 적극 노력하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
