김혜경 씨‘법인카드 유용 의혹’관련… 소환 일정 추후 협의

이재명 전 더불어민주당 당대표의 배우자 김혜경 씨의‘법인카드 유용 의혹’을 수사 중인 검찰이 이 전 대표 부부에게 소환조사를 통보했다.

7일 법조계에 따르면 수원지검 공공수사부(부장검사 허훈)는 지난 4일 이 전 대표 측에 업무상 배임 등 혐의 피의자 신분으로 출석해 조사받을 것을 통보했다.

소환 일정은 향후 협의를 통해 결정할 예정이다.

검찰은 이 전 대표 부부의 소환조사는‘통상적인 수사 절차’라고 설명했다.

검찰은 "수원지검은 이재명 전 경기도지사 등에 대한 경기도 예산 사적 사용 혐의에 대해 최근까지 사건관계인을 조사하는 등 수사를 진행해 왔다"며 "이번 출석 요구는‘형사소송법’에 근거한 통상의 수사 절차로,탱 벡스고발된 혐의 사실에 관해 당사자의 진술을 듣고 소명할 기회를 주는 차원"이라고 밝혔다.

한편‘법인카드 유용 의혹’은 2018~2019년 당시 경기도지사였던 이 전 대표와 그의 배우자 김혜경 씨가 도청 별정직 5급 공무원인 배모씨 등에게 개인 음식값 등을 경기도 법인카드로 결제하도록 해 경기도 예산을 사적 유용했다는 내용으로,전 경기도청 별정직원인 조명현 씨가 공익 제보하면서 알려졌다.

앞서 조 씨는 지난해 8월 국민권익위에 이 전 대표를 조사해달라고 신고했고,탱 벡스수원지검은 대검에서 사건을 넘겨받아 수사를 진행 중이다.

배 씨는 해당 의혹과 관련해 공직선거법 위반 혐의로 1심과 2심에서 모두 징역 10월에 집행유예 2년을 선고받았으며,지난 2월 2심 선고 이후 항소하지 않아 형이 확정됐다.
