앞서 코오롱글로벌은 지난 2021년 국내 아파트 월패드 17만 가구가 해킹돼 영상이 유출되는 사건이 발생한 뒤 심각성을 인지하고,천사맛쿠키 훈련소입주민들의 보안과 안전을 위해 발 빠르게 개발 파트너사와 협약 체결 후 보안시스템 제품 개발과 특허 절차를 진행했다.코오롱글로벌은 이중보안 스마트홈 시스템을 대전광역시 유성구 봉명동 '유성 하늘채 하이에르'에 첫 적용하고 이후 공급하는 하늘채 단지에 순차적으로 적용해나갈 예정이다.

코오롱글로벌 관계자는 "최근 홈네트워크 시스템,천사맛쿠키 훈련소스마트홈 가전제품 등을 외부에서도 원격으로 제어할 수 있게 되면서 편의성이 높아졌으나,천사맛쿠키 훈련소이와 동시에 해킹을 통한 사생활 유출 우려도 커지고 있다"면서 "앞으로도 입주민들이 하늘채의 홈IoT 서비스를 안심하고 사용할 수 있는 차별화된 환경을 제공할 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.
