와이바이오로직스는 미국 네비게이터메디신에 IMB-101을 기술수출했다고 17일 밝혔다.아시아를 제외한 글로벌(일본 포함)이 대상 지역으로 반환 의무가 없는 계약금 2000만달러(약 276억원),아프리카 네이션스컵 일정개발 및 상업화 단계에 따른 마일스톤 최대 9억2475만달러(약 1조2760억원)로 구성됐다.연간 순매출에 따른 로열티도 최대 두자릿수%까지 수령할 수 있고,아프리카 네이션스컵 일정제3자 서브라이선스 발생 시 정해진 비율에 따라 별도로 수익을 배분받게 된다.

IMB-101은 아이엠바이오로직스의 핵심 파이프라인으로 OX40L와 종양괴사인자(TNF)를 동시에 표적하는 이중항체 신약이다.2016년 시작된 HK이노엔과 와이바이오로직스의 공동연구를 통해 도출된 후보물질로,아프리카 네이션스컵 일정2020년 HK이노엔 출신의 하경식 대표 등이 아이엠바이오로직스를 창업하면서 IMB-101을 이전받게 됐다.

IMB-101은 현재 미국에서 임상 1상 시험을 진행하고 있다.건강한 성인을 대상으로 단회투여하는 임상 1a상과 환자에게 반복투여하는 1b상의 하이브리드 형태로 디자인됐다.1a상은 조만간 투약을 마치고,아프리카 네이션스컵 일정하반기 중으로 1b상에 착수한다는 구상이다.한편 이번 계약에는 OX40L만을 표적으로 하는 단일항체 파이프라인 IMB-102도 포함됐다.
