경북 영천에 있는 대규모 돼지 사육농가에서 아프리카돼지열병(ASF)이 발생해 방역당국에 초비상이 걸렸다.

영천지역은 작년 12월부터 야생 멧돼지의 ASF 감염이 지속되기는 했으나 일반 양돈농가 발생은 이번이 처음이다.

15일 농림축산식품부 등에 따르면 영천시 화남면에서 2만4천여 마리의 돼지를 키우는 한 사육농가에서 이날 오후 ASF 확진 판정을 받았다.

특히 해당 농가의 출하 돼지 위탁장이 지역은 물론 충남 홍성 등 수 십곳에 달하는 것으로 알려지면서 ASF 추가 발생 및 확산 우려가 커지고 있다.

해당 농가 반경 3km 내에는 양돈농가 2가구에서 1천810마리,토토 카지노10km 내에선 양돈농가 3가구에서 1만970마리의 돼지를 키우는 것으로 전해졌다.

방역당국은 이날 오후 10시를 기해 17일 오후 10시까지 대구·경북지역 모든 양돈농가와 관련 업종군에 대해 이동 중지 명령을 내리고 긴급 방역 조치 및 역학 조사에 들어갔다.

방역당국 관계자는 "ASF 발생 농장에 대한 출입 통제를 비롯 방역권역에 대한 긴급 조치에 모두가 협력해 달라"면서 "방역 수칙을 철저히 준수하고 의심 증상이 발견되면 즉시 신고해 달라"고 당부했다.
