중동지역 선주로부터 하반기 첫 수주

누적 수주 금액 40억 달러···올해 수주 목표액의 51% 달성

삼성중공업은 중동 지역 선주와 액화천연가스(LNG) 운반선 4척에 대한 건조 계약을 체결했다고 1일 공시했다.계약 금액은 총 1조4381억 원으로 해당 선박들은 오는 2028년 8월까지 순차적으로 선주사에 인도될 예정이다.

삼성중공업은 이번 계약을 포함해 올해 들어 22척을 수주했다.선종별로는 LNG 운반선 19척,지오다노 긴팔초대형 암모니아 운반선(VLAC) 2척,지오다노 긴팔셔틀탱커 1척 등이다.

누적 수주 금액은 현재까지 49억 달러(약 6조7678억 원)로,지오다노 긴팔올해 수주 목표 97억 달러의 51%를 달성했다.수주 잔고는 337억 달러다.

삼성중공업 관계자는 "하반기에도 발주가 예상되는 가스 운반선과 해양 설비 등 다양한 프로젝트에서 기술 경쟁력을 앞세워 수주 목표 달성에 최선을 다할 것"이라며 "탄탄한 수주잔고를 바탕으로 수익성 위주의 선별 수주를 지속해 나갈 방침"이라고 말했다.
