오전 8시 26분 49초 전북 부안군 규모 4.8 지진 발생[이데일리 송승현 기자] 정부가 전북 부안군 규모 4.8 지진 발생에 중앙재난안전대책본부(중대본) 비상 1단계를 가동했다.

이상민 행정안전부 장관이 12일 오전 전남 구례군청에서 전북 부안군 일원에서 발생한 지진관련 상황판단회의를 주재하고 있다.(사진=행안부 제공) 이상민 행정안전부(행안부) 장관은 신속한 피해상황 파악 및 필요시 긴급조치 등을 위해 12일 오전 8시 35분부로 중대본 비상 1단계를 가동했다.아울러 이 장관은 지진 위기 경보‘경계’단계를 발령했다.

중대본 본부장인 이 장관은 “관계부처와 지자체는 긴밀히 협조하고 비상대응체제를 유지하면서 피해 상황을 신속하게 파악하고 필요한 조치를 신속히 취할 것”이라며 긴급 지시를 내렸다.

이날 기상청에 따르면 오전 8시 26분 49초 전북 부안군 남남서쪽 4㎞ 지점에서 규모 4.8 지진이 발생했다.최초 규모 4.7 지진이 발생했다는 긴급재난문자를 발송했지만 추가 분석을 거쳐 4.8로 상향 조정했다.

진앙은 북위 35.70도,마르세유 리옹동경 126.71도이다.진원의 깊이는 8㎞로 추정됐다.이번 지진은 올해 한반도와 주변 해역에서 발생한 지진 중 규모가 가장 크다.1978년 기상청 계기관측이 시작된 이래 한반도에서 발생한 지진 규모 순위 중에서는 16위에 해당한다.
