이른바 '형제의 난'으로 가족들과 오랜 갈등을 겪어온 효성가의 차남 조현문 전 효성 부사장이 오늘 깜짝 기자회견에 나섰습니다.

상속 재산을 전액 사회에 환원하고 형제간의 갈등을 끝내고 싶다고 했는데,효성 측은 재발 방지를 위한 진정성을 강조했습니다.

황다예 기자가 보도합니다.

[리포트]

효성가의 차남 조현문 전 부사장은 10년 전,투네이션 룰렛 결과 보는법형인 조현준 효성 회장 등을 횡령 및 배임 의혹으로 고발했습니다.

2017년에는 조현준 회장이 조 전 부사장으로부터 협박당했다며 고소했습니다.

이른바 효성가 '형제의 난' 입니다.

[조현준/효성그룹 회장/2018년 1월 : "집안 문제로 여러가지 물의를 일으켜서 죄송하게 생각합니다."]

가족들과 오랜 갈등을 겪어온 조 전 부사장은 지난 3월,투네이션 룰렛 결과 보는법조석래 효성그룹 명예회장 별세 당시 유족 명단에도 오르지 못했습니다.

하지만,조 명예회장은 유언장을 통해 조 전 부사장에 대한 일부 상속과 세 아들의 화해도 당부한 것으로 전해졌습니다.

오늘 기자간담회를 연 조 전 부사장은 선친의 유지를 받들어 형제들과의 갈등을 끝내고 싶다고 했습니다.

[조현문/전 효성 부사장 : "화해를 이루고 싶습니다.저는 효성 경영권에 전혀 관심이 없습니다."]

그러면서 상속 재산을 전액 사회에 환원하겠다고 밝혔습니다.

[조현문/전 효성 부사장 : "상속재산을 욕심내지 않고 전액 재단에 출연함으로써 국가와 사회에 쓰임 받게 하는 선례를 만들고자 합니다."]

효성 그룹 측은 그동안의 일들에 대한 재발 방지와 가족간 화합을 위한 진정성 있는 약속이 우선돼야 한다는 입장을 전했습니다.
