프랑스 총선 결선투표에서 예상을 뒤엎고,이상한 로또 번호좌파 연합이 1위를 차지했습니다.

1주일 전 1차 투표에서 압승해 총리 배출까지 기대하며 샴페인을 터뜨렸던 '국민연합'은 3위로 밀렸습니다.

임세흠 기자가 보도합니다.

[리포트]

현지시각 일요일 치러진 프랑스 총선 결선투표에서 좌파 정당들의 연합이 제 1당에 올랐습니다.

하원 577석 중 182석을 차지했습니다.

[장 뤼크 멜랑숑/좌파연합 내 '굴복하지 않는 프랑스(LFI)' 대표 : "이번 투표에서 다수는 국가를 위해 또 다른 선택을 했습니다."]

2위는 마크롱 대통령의 범여권 정당들로 168석을 얻어 참패는 면했습니다.

불과 1주일 전 1차 투표에서 돌풍을 일으키며 선두를 차지했던 '국민연합'은 143석으로 3위에 그쳤습니다.

반이민,반유럽 기조로 극우 정당으로 분류됐던 '국민연합'은 정책 변화를 꾀해 의회 권력 장악과 총리 배출까지 눈앞에 뒀지만,좌파연합과 범여권의 막판 후보 단일화에 가로막혔습니다.

[올리비에 포르/좌파연합 내 사회당 대표 : "오늘 밤,프랑스는 국민연합(RN)이 정권을 장악하는 것을 거부했습니다."]

외신들은 대이변이 '충격적'이라고 전했는데,"1차 투표는 마크롱 대통령 심판 투표,이상한 로또 번호결선 투표는 국민연합 집권에 대한 찬반 투표 성격이었다"는 분석도 나왔습니다.

관례대로라면 마크롱 대통령은 1당을 차지한 좌파 연합 출신을 총리로 임명해야 합니다.

하지만,그가 극좌 정당에는 권력을 맡길 수 없다고 언급해온 만큼,진통이 예상됩니다.
