한국 딜로이트 '아시아 태평양 생성형 AI 업무 활용 현황' 보고서

(서울=연합뉴스) 조성미 기자 = 아시아 태평양 지역 대학생·회사원 사이에서 인공지능(AI) 사용이 보편화되고 있는 가운데 국가별로 'AI를 사용한다'고 응답한 이들의 비율이 상당한 격차를 보이는 것으로 조사됐다.

한국 딜로이트 그룹이 중국,인도,일본,대만,한국,인도네시아,태국,베트남,제일복권 파는곳호주 등 아시아 태평양 지역 13개 국가 대학생 2천903명과 기업 직원 9천42명을 대상으로 조사해 18일 발표한 결과를 보면 대학생 81%와 직원 62%가 생성형 AI를 활용하고 있다고 대답했다.

특히 18∼24세 젊은 직원들의 AI 활용도가 중장년 직원의 2배로 조사됐다.

국가별로 보면 인도 응답자의 87%,동남아시아 응답자 76%가 생성형 AI를 사용한다고 밝혔지만 일본 응답자는 39%만 AI를 사용한다고 답했다.

생성형 AI 변화 트렌드에 '적극 대응'한다는 비율도 인도와 중국은 각각 70% 이상으로 높은 반면 반면 일본은 30%에 못 미쳤다.

한국 딜로이트 그룹은 "이러한 격차는 개발도상국이 총인구 대비 '디지털 네이티브' 인구 비율이 더 높기 때문에 발생한 것으로 보인다"고 분석했다.

아시아 태평양 지역에서 생성형 AI는 매년 약 110억 시간에 이르는 근로 시간에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상됐다.이는 전체 근로 시간의 16%에 달하는 수치다.

AI를 쓴다는 응답자 80%가 작업 속도 향상 및 소요 시간 절감 효과가 있다고 했고,제일복권 파는곳78%가 '워라밸을 개선했다'고 답했다.

그러나 조사 대상 직원의 25%만 자신의 기업을 생성형 AI 혁신자 또는 초기 수용자로 간주했고,22%는 여전히 회사에서 생성형 AI를 금지하거나 제한하고 있다고 대답했다.
