정부가 인공지능(AI) 분야에 3조 5천억 원 규모의 신규 자금을 공급하기로 했습니다.

3조 원 규모의 AI 분야 전용 저리 대출이 신설되고,오키나와 카지노 호텔5천억 원 규모의 투자 펀드도 조성됩니다.

금융위원회는 4일 서울 마포 프론트원에서 김소영 부위원장 주재로 관계부처 및 정책금융기관과 '제7차 정책금융지원협의회'를 열고 AI 분야에 대한 집중 지원 방안을 발표했습니다.

우선 산업은행이 반도체 등 5대 첨단전략산업에 총 15조 원 규모로 운영하는 '초격차 주력 산업지원 상품' 대상에 인공지능 분야를 3조 원 규모로 신설하기로 했습니다.

AI 모델 개발,오키나와 카지노 호텔로봇·자율주행 등 AI 관련 사업을 영위하는 기업은 최대 1.2%포인트(p) 낮은 금리로 자금을 조달할 수 있습니다.

산은은 이달 중 해당 상품을 출시할 예정입니다.

산은은 AI 기술 개발 및 생태계 육성을 지원하는 'AI 코리아 펀드(가칭)'도 5천억 원 규모로 조성하기로 했습니다.

산은이 1천500억 원을 출자하고 민간자금 3천500억 원을 유치하는 방식으로 펀드를 출시할 계획입니다.

김소영 부위원장은 "유망한 기술력을 가진 AI 기업은 투자를 받아 더 크게 사업을 확장하거나 새로운 주인을 맞이해 사업 단계를 전환하는 기회를 맞이하게 될 것"이라고 말했습니다.

그러면서 "신속한 정책금융 지원 확대가 AI 산업의 주도권 선점을 위해 치열하게 경쟁하고 있는 우리 기업에 힘이 되기를 기대한다"고 밝혔습니다.

이날 정책금융지원협의회에서는 지난 5월 말까지의 정책금융 공급 현황도 논의됐습니다.

산은,오키나와 카지노 호텔기업은행,오키나와 카지노 호텔신용보증기금 등 정책금융기관은 5대 중점전략 분야에 5월까지 총 54조 5천억 원의 자금을 공급했습니다.

이는 연간목표(102조 원) 대비 53.2%로,기간 경과율을 반영한 목표 집행률(41.7%)을 초과 달성한 겁니다.
