민간시설의 공간을 개방하는 '기후동행쉼터'는 CU·GS25 편의점 58곳,랜딩 카지노신한은행 지점 197곳에 이어 오는 19일부터 KT대리점 250곳이 추가돼 총 505곳으로 확대된다.

이번에 새롭게 추가된 KT대리점은 66㎡(20평) 수준의 규모에 상담창구와 테이블을 갖추고 있어 쾌적하고 편안한 환경을 제공한다.시원한 생수와 부채를 무료로 제공하고 무선인터넷(wifi)과 충전시설도 편하게 이용할 수 있도록 지원한다.각 쉼터에는 '서울시 기후동행쉼터' 인증 스티커가 부착된다.

앞서 시는 전날 서울시청 영상회의실에서 유창수 서울시 행정2부시장과 이현석 KT커스터머부문장이 참여한 가운데 기후동행쉼터 제공을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.이번 협약은 KT 측이 먼저 서울시에 동참 의사를 밝히면서 성사됐다.

시는 올 여름 9개 유형의 폭염대피시설 3116곳을 운영하고 있다.시민 누구나 이용 가능한 시설은 기후동행쉼터 505곳을 비롯해 무더위쉼터(주민센터 등) 2121곳,랜딩 카지노쿨한도서관(시·구립도서관) 179곳,랜딩 카지노지하철역사 내 쉼터 90곳 등이다.

재난약자 보호시설은 안전숙소(호텔,랜딩 카지노모텔 등) 106곳,노숙인무더위쉼터 11곳,쪽방상담소 무더위쉼터 7곳,동행목욕탕 6곳,장애인폭염대피소 91곳 등 221개소다.
