최근 기소된 제 3자뇌물죄 사건도 대장동 사건을 포함한 이 대표의 재판이 진행 중인 서울중앙지법에서 진행되게 해달라는 취지로 풀이됩니다.

이 대표는 이미 대장동 개발 비리와 성남 FC 후원금 의혹,블랙풀 대 노팅엄 포리스트백현동 개발 특혜 의혹,블랙풀 대 노팅엄 포리스트위증교사,블랙풀 대 노팅엄 포리스트공직선거법 위반 혐의로 서울중앙지법에서 3개의 재판을 받고 있습니다.

형사소송법에 따르면 토지관할을 달리하는 수개의 관련 사건이 각각 다른 법원에서 진행될 때 바로 위의 상급법원(대법원)은 검사나 피고인의 신청으로 1개 법원으로 하여금 병합 심리하게 할 수 있습니다.

이 전 대표의 제3자뇌물죄는 2019년 이화영 전 경기도 평화부지사와 공모해 김성태 전 쌍방울 그룹 회장으로 하여금 경기도가 북한에 지급하기로 약속한 '스마트팜 지원' 사업비 500만 달러를 대납하게 했다는 것입니다.

또 2019년 7월부터 2020년 1월까지 북한 측이 요구한 도지사 방북 비용 명목 300만 달러를 대납하게 한 혐의도 받습니다.

현재 이 전 대표의 제3자뇌물 사건은 이화영 전 경기도평화부지사의 1심에서 유죄를 선고한 재판부(수원지법 형사11부)에 배당된 상태입니다.
