한식진흥원,세계 18개 도시 9천명 대상 조사…"10명 중 9명 '만족'"

(서울=연합뉴스) 신선미 기자 = 미국 등 세계 각국 소비자 10명 중 6명 이상은 최근 1년 내 현지 한식당에서 식사했다.또 이들 해외 소비자의 한식당 방문 빈도는 월평균 1.7회로 조사됐다.

한식진흥원은 지난해 8∼10월 미국 뉴욕,프랑스 파리,허더즈필드 순위영국 런던 등 해외 18개 도시에 사는 20∼59세 외국인 9천명을 대상으로 조사한 '해외 한식 소비자 조사' 결과를 25일 발표했다.

9천명 중 5천813명(64.6%)은 최근 1년 내 한식당에 방문한 적이 있다고 답변했다.

지역별로 보면 동남아시아가 84.6%에 달했다.동북아시아(74.7%),북미(58.6%),허더즈필드 순위오세아니아·중남미·중동(52.3%),유럽(46.9%) 등의 순이었다.

동남아시아 응답자의 79.7%는 한식당 찾기가 어렵지 않다고 답했다.

한식당을 찾은 적이 있다는 외국인 5천404명을 대상으로 한 조사에서는 한식당 방문 빈도는 월평균 1.7회로 조사됐다.지역별로 보면 동남아시아가 월평균 2.2회로 가장 높았고 동북아시아 1.7회,오세아니아·중남미·중동 1.5회,허더즈필드 순위북미 1.4회,허더즈필드 순위유럽 1.2회 등이었다.

한식당 방문 목적에 대해서는 '일상적인 식사'라는 응답 비중이 49.0%로 가장 많았다.이는 전년보다 2.8%포인트 높아진 수치다.

한식당에 만족한다는 외국인 비율은 90.4%로 높았다.재방문 의향이 있다는 답변은 86.7%,허더즈필드 순위추천 의향이 있다는 응답은 83.1%로 각각 조사됐다.
