[파이낸셜뉴스] 대마젤리를 먹고 지인에게 제공한 대학원생이 구속 상태로 재판에 넘겨졌다.

서울동부지검 형사3부(김지용 부장검사)는 A씨를 마약류관리에관한법률 위반(대마) 혐의로 구속 기소했다고 2일 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난해 12월 서울 마포구 인근 클럽에서 대마젤리 20여개를 수수한 뒤 일부는 섭취하고 일부는 지난 3월 전 직장 동료들에게 제공한 혐의를 받는다.

A씨는 해외 유학생 출신으로,야한 커뮤니티클럽 일대에서 불상의 외국인으로부터 대마젤리를 수수한 것으로 파악됐다.

대마젤리를 제공받은 전 직장 동료들 역시 유학생 출신으로,야한 커뮤니티지난 5월 구속 상태로 재판에 넘겨진 바 있다.

검찰 관계자는 "죄에 상응할 수 있는 형이 선고될 수 있도록 공소 유지에 최선을 다하는 한편,야한 커뮤니티우리 사회에 마약이 발붙일 수 없도록 앞으로도 마약 범죄에 강력 대처할 것"이라고 말했다.
