미국 나스닥 시장에서 기업공개(IPO)에 나서는 네이버웹툰의 공모가격이 희망범위 상단인 주당 21달러로 결정됐다고 블룸버그통신이 보도했다.

26일(이하 현지시간) 블룸버그에 따르면 네이버웹툰 본사이자 북미 법인인 웹툰엔터테인먼트의 공모가는 희망 범위인 주당 18~21달러의 상단인 21달러로 결정됐다.

공모가가 희망범위 상단으로 결정된 것은 웹툰엔터테인먼트에 대한 현지 투자자들의 높은 관심을 반영한 것으로 풀이된다.

웹툰엔터테인먼트는 보통주 1500만주가 상장되는 이번 IPO를 통해 3억1500만달러(약 4400억원)를 조달할 것으로 전망된다.

공모가 상단 가격을 적용한 상장 후 기업가치는 약 27억달러(약 3조7600억원)로 추산된다.

웹툰엔터테인먼트는 미 증권거래위원회(SEC)에 제출한 서류에서 블랙록이 코너스톤투자자로 최대 5000만달러(약 700억원) 투자 의향을 밝혔다고 밝혔다.코너스톤투자자는 IPO 과정에서 처음부터 큰 금액을 투자하는 기관이다.

웹툰엔터테인먼트는 티커명 'WBTN'으로 27일부터 나스닥에서 거래된다.상장 주관사는 골드만삭스,룰렛 유니티모건스탠리,룰렛 유니티JP모건,룰렛 유니티에버코어다.

네이버는 웹툰엔터테인먼트 상장 후에도 60% 이상의 지분을 소유해 지배주주로서 이사 선임 권한을 보유하게 된다.라인야후(LY코퍼레이션)도 약 25%의 지분을 보유해 주요 주주로 남게 된다.

네이버웹툰은 150여 개국에서 서비스를 제공 중이다.전 세계에 2400만명의 크리에이터,룰렛 유니티1억7000만명의 월간활성사용자(MAU)와 5510만개의 콘텐츠를 보유 중이다.

지난해 매출은 12억8000만달러를 기록했다.올 1분기에는 188억원의 영업이익을 내 흑자 전환에 성공했지만 지난해에는 1억4500만달러의 순손실을 내서 전년도의 1억3200만달러 대비 손실 폭이 늘었다.창립 후 연간 기준 수년째 적자를 이어가고 있다.
