8일 질병관리청에 따르면 지난달 29일 수원시의 한 병원에 입원했던 20대 남성 A씨에 대한 혈액 검사에서 야토병균 양성 반응이 나왔다.

A씨는 지난달 24일 집 근처 소 곱창 식당에서 소 생간을 먹은 뒤 복통과 발열 증상을 호소하다 29일 병원에 입원했다.다행히 증상이 사라져 지난 2일 퇴원했다.A씨와 함께 식사했던 일행 1명에게선 증상이 나타나지 않았다.

질병관리청은 시로부터 야토병 의심 사례 발생을 보고받은 뒤 야토병 확진 여부를 판단하기 위해 지난 6일 경기도보건환경연구원에 혈청 검사를 의뢰했다.아울러 수도권질병대응센터,조은 카지노 6868경기도와 함께 역학조사와 공동 노출자 증상 모니터링을 실시하는 등의 방역조치를 시행했다.
