고(故) 이건희 삼성 회장이 생전에 수집한 유물인‘이건희 컬렉션’일부를 대구에서 볼 수 있게 됐다.

국립대구박물관은 9일부터 특별전시실에서 이 회장 유족 측이 기증한 국보인 대구 비산동 청동기 유물 6점과 경북 고령 유물 56점을 전시한다.이 유물은 지난 2021년 4월 이 회장 유족이 국립중앙박물관 등에 기증한 수집품 2만 1693점 중 일부다.지난 4월 국립중앙박물관은 소속 박물관의 상설 전시에 이건희 컬렉션을 활용하는 계획을 발표했다.이 중 대구·경북과 관련 있는 유물들이 국립대구박물관에 전시되는 것이다.

이번에 전시되는 대구 비산동 청동기 유물은 지난 1956년 대구 와룡산 북쪽 자락을 지나던 지역 주민이 발견했다.창과 꺾창,카타르 팔레스타인 축구칼과 칼집 부속물 등으로 구성돼 있다.창과 꺾창은 무기로서의 기능이 거의 없는 의례용 장비로 확인됐다.삼국시대 대구 지역 국읍(國邑)의 위상과 문화를 알려주는 유물로서 지난 1971년 국보로 지정됐다.

유리구슬 목걸이,카타르 팔레스타인 축구큰 칼 등으로 구성된 고령 유물은 경북 고령군 지산동 고분군에서 출토된 것으로 전해진다.고령군은 예부터 대가야의 중심지로,카타르 팔레스타인 축구지산동 고분군은 왕과 왕족의 묘역으로 알려져있다.당시 대가야 지배계층의 장신구와 복식 문화를 알려주는 주요 자료로서 지난 1973년 보물로 지정됐다.이번 전시는 내년 6월 29일까지 진행되며,무료로 감상할 수 있다.

국립대구박물관 관계자는 “지역민들이 언제든지 이건희 회장의 기증품을 감상할 수 있는 기회를 만들었다”며 “지역의 문화 유산을 누리며 우리 고장의 옛 모습을 들여다보는 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
