카카오페이손보는 "삼성화재가 개편한 해외여행보험 온라인 상품은 가입 단계나 화면 구성 및 UI,레이아웃 및 안내문구 등 모든 측면에서 당사의 해외여행보험 가입 프로세스 및 화면과 100% 가까이 일치한 것으로 확인됐다"며 “모바일 가입 프로세스를 무단으로 베낀 삼성화재 가입 프로세스를 즉각 원복하고 현 사태에 대해 책임자의 정중한 사과와 재발 방지 대책을 세워달라”고 요구했다.이외에도 여행 국가 선택부터 최종 청약 확인까지의 전 과정이 카카오페이손보 가입 단계와 동일하게 바뀌었고,카카오페이손보가 업계 최초로 도입한 '담보 직접설계(DIY)'·'국가 선택'·'동반 가입하기' 단계를 똑같이 추가해 화면 내 레이아웃이나 타이틀,콜벳 카지노버튼의 문구까지 그대로 모방했다고 주장했다.
