금은방에서 목걸이 훔쳐 달아나는 피의자

(예산=연합뉴스) 강수환 기자 = 금은방에서 금목걸이를 훔쳐 달아났던 30대가 경찰에 붙잡혀 조사받고 있다.

19일 충남 예산경찰서에 따르면 A씨는 지난달 26일 오후 1시께 예산군 예산읍 한 금은방에서 손님인 척 귀금속을 구경하다 금목걸이 2점(800만원 상당)을 훔쳐 달아났다.

택시를 타고 홍성까지 달아난 A씨는 요금을 내지 않고 내린 뒤 훔친 목걸이를 현금화하려다 실패했다.

다른 택시를 타고 서산까지 이동한 A씨는 신호대기에 걸린 틈을 타 요금도 내지 않은 채 택시에서 내려 다시 도망쳤다.

A씨가 두 차례 무임승차한 택시 요금은 10만원에 달했다.

택시 기사의 무임승차 신고를 접수한 경찰은 먼저 접수된 금은방 절도 용의자와 동일인 소행으로 보고,러브룰렛 연상연하 1A씨가 택시에서 내려 도주한 서산 지역 금은방 19곳에 A씨 인상착의를 알렸다.

훔친 금목걸이를 되팔기 위해 A씨가 금은방을 찾을 것으로 예상했기 때문이다.

실제로 A씨는 서산 읍내동의 한 금은방을 찾았고,러브룰렛 연상연하 1이를 알아본 주인의 신고로 결국 경찰에 긴급체포됐다.

배달업을 하던 A씨는 '빚을 갚으려 범행했다'고 진술한 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰은 무임승차 혐의도 조사하는 한편 A씨를 절도 혐의로 조만간 송치할 예정이다.
