전북 고창에서 80대 노인이 보이스피싱에 14억원 상당의 피해를 입었다는 신고가 접수돼 경찰이 수사에 나섰다.
24일 고창경찰서에 따르면 지난 22일 A씨는 전화금융사기를 당한 것 같다며 신고를 접수했다.
A씨는 지난 7일 '해외직구 결제 완료.아닐 시 고객센터 신고'라는 문자를 받은 뒤 19일까지 총 21차례에 걸쳐 보이스피싱 조직에 14억원을 이체한 것으로 조사됐다.
당시 A씨는 '해외직구 결제'라는 문자에 화들짝 놀라 안내된 번호로 전화를 걸었다.전화를 받은 B씨는 자신을 금융감독원 직원이라고 속이고 A씨에게 계좌이체를 유도했다.B씨는 '통장이 대포통장으로 쓰이고 있으니,로또119회예금을 전부 다른 계좌로 옮겨야 한다'고 A씨를 겁주면서 속인 것으로 파악됐다.
이후 B 씨와 연락이 닿지 않자,로또119회A씨는 전화금융사기임을 의심하고 이같은 사실을 경찰에 신고했다.
경찰 관계자는 "계좌이체로 비대면 편취를 한 사건이라 현재 영장을 받아 계좌 추적 중"이라며 "피해 액수가 커 신속한 수사를 위해 최선을 다하고 있다"고 말했다.
