[서울=뉴시스] 박대로 기자 = 북한산 주변 고도지구가 정비되면서 도봉구(구청장 오언석) 내 재개발 사업이 활력을 띨 전망이다.

도봉구는 북한산 주변 고도지구 높이를 완화하는 용도지구(고도지구) 결정(변경) 및 지형도면을 서울시가 고시했다고 27일 밝혔다.

이번 결정에 따라 고도지구 내 개별 건축물을 건축할 때 최고 높이 한도가 20m에서 28m로 상향 조정된다.

정비사업을 추진할 때는 서울시 위원회 심의를 거쳐 최고 45m까지 지을 수 있게 된다.

도봉구 시가화면적 중 11%인 1.163㎢가 고도지구 제한을 받고 있었는데 이번 결정으로 0.747㎢만 남았다.북한산과 인접한 도봉1동,스크릴 도박방학2·3동,스크릴 도박쌍문1동 일대가 고도지구에 해당한다.

오언석 도봉구청장은 "이번 성과는 구청장으로 취임과 동시에 2년간 주민과 구가 긴밀히 소통하며 이루어낸 결실"이라며 "고도지구가 34년 만에 획기적으로 개편된 만큼 앞으로 고도지구 내 주거환경이 신속히 개선될 수 있도록 관련 사업 추진에 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
