[광주=뉴시스] 변재훈 기자 = 전화 금융 사기(보이스피싱) 일당에 '돈 세탁'을 해주겠다며 속인 뒤 지인 명의의 통장으로 받은 사기 피해금을 착복한 조직폭력배 등 일당이 검거됐다.

광주경찰청 형사기동대 1계는 범죄수익 은닉의 규제·처벌법,스페이드 토토전자금융거래법 위반 등 혐의를 받는 조직폭력배 20대 초반 남성 A씨를 구속했다고 1일 밝혔다.

경찰은 또 A씨에게 각기 자신 명의의 통장을 빌려준 지인 2명도 전자금융거래법 위반(접근매체 대여) 혐의로 입건했다.

A씨 등은 올해 3월22~25일까지 검찰 수사관을 사칭한 전화 금융 사기에 속은 피해자 5명이 자신들의 계좌로 입금한 5500만원을 받아 가로챈 혐의 등을 받고 있다.

조직폭력배인 A씨는 보이스피싱 일당에게 사기 피해금을 자신과 지인들 명의의 계좌로 대신 건네받아 다시 송금해주겠다며 이른바 '돈 세탁'을 제안,스페이드 토토실제 사기 피해금이 입금되자 그대로 현금으로 인출해 달아난 것으로 조사됐다.

A씨는 곧바로 태국으로 출국해 3개월간 도피 행각을 벌였으나 지난달 25일 귀국 직후 경찰에 붙잡혔다.
