[서울=뉴시스]이연희 기자 = 한국국토정보공사가 창사 47주년을 맞아 1일 오전 전북 전주 국토정보공사 본사 강당에서 기념식을 열고 경영 위기 극복 의지를 다졌다.

'국민과 함께한 47년,크레이지 슬롯 머신혁신으로 나아가는 100년'을 주제로 한 이번 창립기념식에는 임직원 300여 명이 참석했다.매출 증대와 예산 절감 등에 기여한 공로자 30명에 대한 표창 수여식도 진행됐다.

국토정보공사는 공공기관 경영실적 평가에서 2년 연속 '미흡(D)' 등급을 받았다.2022년 164억원의 적자가 발생한 이후 적자가 지속되고 있으며 현 상황을 개선하지 못하면 올해 1100억원대 적자가 예상되는 상황이다.

어명소 국토정보공사 사장은 경영 위기 극복을 위해 ▲지적측량 첨단화·효율화 ▲공간정보사업의 선택과 집중 ▲역량과 성과 중심 조직문화 구축 등 혁신 방향을 제시했다.

지적측량 분야에서는 첨단 기술을 도입해 신속·정확하게 서비스를 제공하고 절차 간소화 등으로 서비스 품질 혁신을 높일 예정이다.

공간정보 분야에서는 주소·도로·지하정보의 디지털화 등 국가 핵심 인프라를 고도화하고 디지털트윈 등을 활용한 스마트시티 구축 등 공적 역할을 확대하는 데 주력한다.

아울러 성과와 역량 중심의 조직문화를 정착시켜 일하는 방식을 혁신한다는 원칙도 세웠다.

어 사장은 "직면한 현실은 녹록치 않지만 현재의 위기를 냉철히 인식하고 노사가 신뢰하고 화합하면 반드시 헤쳐나갈 수 있다"면서 "과거의 관행·타성을 과감히 환골탈태하고 혁신해 더욱 강하고 건실한 LX로 만들어 나가자"고 밝혔다.
