미성년 제자를 상대로 성폭행을 시도한 연기학원 대표가 재판에 넘겨졌다.

청주지검은 14일 미성년 제자를 성폭행하려 한 연기학원 대표 30대 A 씨를 아동·청소년의 성보호에 관한 법률 위반(강간 등 치상) 혐의로 구속기소 했다고 밝혔다.

A 씨는 지난해 미성년 제자 B 씨를 자택으로 부른 뒤 성범죄를 저지르려다 미수에 그친 혐의를 받는다.

당시 A 씨는 학원비가 밀렸던 B 씨에게 "자신과 성관계하면 밀린 학원비를 내지 않아도 된다"는 식으로 말하며 성관계를 요구한 것으로 전해졌다.

사건 발생 후 B 씨는 외상후스트레스장애(PTSD) 등 상해를 입은 것으로 알려졌다.

청주지검 관계자는 "트라우마 극복을 위해 피해자 심리치료 지원을 의뢰했다"며 "앞으로도 우월적 지위를 이용한 미성년자 성범죄에 대해선 엄정하게 대응할 것"이라고 말했다.
