현대차그룹이 소방청에 무공해 친환경 회복지원차를 전달했다.

남화영 소방청장과 정의선 현대차그룹 회장은 27일 제주도 구좌읍의 CFI(Carbon Free island·탄소없는 섬) 에너지미래관에서 회복지원차 전달식을 가졌다.회복지원차는 소방대원들이 화재진압 등 현장에서 쌓인 피로를 회복하고 탈진을 예방하기 위한 공간으로 활용된다.

전달식에는 남 청장과 정 회장을 비롯해 김애숙 제주도 정무부지사,박일준 대한상공회의소 부회장 등 100여명이 참석했다.행사는 수소회복지원차 탑승 체험,소방공무원을 주인공으로 제작한 글로벌 홍보영상 시청 등으로 진행됐다.

제주도에 전달되는 회복지원차는 지난해 3월 울산북부소방서에서 진행된 대한상의 기업가정신협의회(ERT) 나눔 프로젝트를 시작으로 경북·강원·전북·인천·울산·충남 등 7개 시·도 본부에 이어 전달되는 8번째 차량이다.

정 회장은 이날 "대구·충북 지역에도 추가 지원할 것"이라며 "내년 충북혁신도시에 국내 최초로 들어서는 국립소방병원에 차량 및 재활 장비를 제공해 소방관들의 건강과 회복을 지원하겠다"고 약속했다.

남 청장은"현대차그룹의 지속적인 관심과 지원에 감사하고 국민의 안전으로 보답하겠다"며 "현장활동 대원들의 안전 확보와 고품질의 소방서비스 제공을 위해 부처 차원에서도 노력할 것"이라고 말했다.
