최재영 목사 /연합뉴스윤석열 대통령 부인 김건희 여사에게 명품가방 등을 건넨 최재영 목사가 선거법 위반 조사를 받기 위해 오는 24일 경찰에 출석한다.

경기남부경찰청 반부패·경제범죄수사대는 최 목사를 24일 오전 10시 명예훼손과 선거법 위반 혐의의 피의자 신분으로 불러 조사할 예정이라고 18일 밝혔다.

최 목사는 4·10 총선을 앞둔 지난 2월 양평군에서 열린 강연회에서 여주·양평 지역구에 더불어민주당 후보로 출마했던 최재관 전 지역위원장을 위해 불법 선거운동을 한 혐의를 받고 있다.

최 목사는 지난 3월 경기 여주시에서 열린 강연회에서 국민의힘 이철규 의원과 김 여사를 함께 언급하며 이 의원의 명예를 훼손한 혐의도 받는다.
