오늘(3일) 오후 5시 15분쯤 서울 중구 국립중앙의료원 응급실에 택시가 돌진해 3명이 부상하는 사고가 발생했습니다.

서울 중부경찰서는 오늘 택시를 몰다가 사고를 낸 60대 남성 운전자 A 씨를 임의동행해 조사하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

경찰과 소방 당국 등에 따르면 이 사고로 보행자 3명 중 1명이 중상을 입고 2명이 경상을 입었습니다.

A 씨는 크게 다치지 않은 것으로 파악됐습니다.

A 씨는 택시를 몰다가 보행자와 차량 4대를 치었습니다.

이 사고로 콘크리트 타일로 된 응급실 벽면도 파손됐습니다.

사고를 인근 건물 2층에서 목격했다는 김 모(75) 씨는 "병동 안에서 쾅 소리가 나서 '강도가 들었나' 생각했는데 밖을 보니 여자가 피를 흘리며 쓰러져 있는 것을 봤다"며 "아직도 놀라서 가슴이 벌렁거린다"고 말했습니다.

A 씨는 사고 직후 주변에 차량 급발진을 주장한 것으로 전해졌습니다.

경찰은 사고 후 음주측정을 한 결과 A 씨가 술을 마신 상태는 아니었다고 전했습니다.

경찰은 CCTV와 블랙박스 등을 토대로 자세한 사고 경위를 조사할 계획입니다.
