인천 전기차 화재로 '전기차 공포'가 확산하고 있습니다.여러 아파트 단지에선 전기차 충전 시설을 어디에 둘지 등 주민들 사이에 혼란도 벌어지고 있습니다.

공다솜 기자가 취재했습니다.

지상과 지하 모두에 전기차 충전시설과 주차장이 있는 인천의 한 아파트 단지.

정기 입주자대표회의를 여는데 핵심 안건은 전기차 설비 운영으로 잡혔습니다.

최근 화재가 이어지자 전기차 충전기 운영 방식 등을 논의하기로 한 겁니다.

비용이 추가로 들어갈 수도 있는데 주민 의견은 엇갈립니다.

[A씨/아파트 입주민 : 위에가 아무래도 낫죠.여기는 화재가 나도 빨리 진화도 할 수 있고 아파트에도 영향이 없고.]

[B씨/아파트 입주민 : 아이들이 학교 다니며 낮에도 계속 오며 가며 하는데 지상에 전기차까지 더 오가면 그것도 또 위험할 수 있잖아요.]

재건축을 마치고 11월 입주를 앞둔 서울의 한 대단지 아파트는 민관이 모여 회의를 열었습니다.

지하에 있는 전기차 설비 지상화나 지하주차장 소방 설비 등 대안을 논의했는데 신축 아파트의 경우 상황은 더 복잡합니다.

대부분은 지상에 주차장 대신 편의 시설을 마련하는데 이 시설이 아파트 가격까지 좌우하는 경우가 많기 때문입니다.

지상 공간을 충전 시설로 두기 어렵다는 겁니다.

[재건축조합 관계자 : 아파트 커뮤니티 인프라 그런 내용들을 활용할 수 있냐가 주거 단지로서의 가치를 높일 수 있는 방안이잖아요.지상에 자동차를 올리고 아파트 주민 생활을 집에만 국한시키는 건 해결 방안이 아닌 거죠.]

정부는 전기차 설비를 지상에 설치할 경우 보조금 지급을 검토하기로 했는데 일각에선 전기차 안전 대책을 아파트에게 떠넘기고 있다는 비판까지 나옵니다.
