“제조·판매·유통 시너지 효과 기대”

[헤럴드경제=김희량 기자] 사조그룹이 식자재 유통·급식 푸드 서비스 기업인 푸디스트를 2520억원에 사들인다.

25일 식품업계에 따르면 사조그룹은 전날 사조오양과 사조CPK를 통해 국내 사모펀드 VIG파트너스가 보유한 푸디스트 지분 99.86% 확보하기로 했다.

인수 금액은 2520억원이다.사조오양은 푸디스트 지분 31.70%를 800억원에 확보하고,리갓 하알 순위사조CPK는 68.16%를 1720억원에 인수한다.

푸디스트는 1995년 한화 여의도사옥 급식사업 진출을 시작으로,리갓 하알 순위2020년 한화호텔앤드리조트에서 분사해 VIG 파트너스가 인수했다.VIG파트너스는 식자재 유통 및 단체 급식 사업부문과 2018년 인수했던 윈플러스(식자재왕마트)를 합병해 푸디스트를 운영해 왔다.

식자재 유통 분야는 지난해 기준 푸디스트 매출의 약 75%를 차지한다.업계 1위의 PB인‘식자재왕’이 핵심 경쟁력이다.자사몰‘e-왕마트’과 오프라인 매장‘식자재왕마트’를 보유하고 있다.

푸디스트는 최근 3년간 연평균 15.4%의 매출 성장률을 보였다.지난해 매출 1조291억원을 달성했다.

사조그룹에 따르면 이번 인수를 진두지휘한 사람은 주지홍 총괄부회장이다.푸디스트를 인수한 사조그룹은 기존 농·수·축산 등 1차 관련 사업에 이어,리갓 하알 순위제조·판매·유통을 아우르는 식품 밸류 체인을 갖출 계획이다.

주지홍 총괄부회장은 “이번 인수를 통해 올해 매출 6조원을 달성하고,5년 내 연 매출 10조원의 외형을 갖출 것”이라고 말했다.
