[서울=뉴시스] 조성하 기자 = 최저임금 차별 적용 등을 반대하며 기습 시위를 벌인 전국민주노동조합총연맹(민주노총) 조합원 23명이 경찰에 붙잡힌 가운데,플로렌치 도박민주노총은 즉각 반발 성명을 내고 연행자 석방을 촉구했다.

서울 남대문경찰서는 26일 오전 10시42분께 민주노총 조합원 23명을 퇴거 불응 혐의로 현행범 체포했다고 밝혔다.

민주노총은 이 과정에서 조합원 한명이 가슴뼈가 부러지는 부상을 입고 병원으로 이송됐다고 발표했다.경찰 관계자는 "검거된 23명 중 22명은 경찰서로 바로 연행됐고 1명은 두통을 호소해 병원으로 보냈다"고 밝혔다.

이들은 오전 10시 서울 중구 서울고용노동청 로비에서 업종별 차별적용 논의를 중단하고 최저임금 대폭 인상을 실현해야 한다고 주장하며 기습 시위를 벌인 것으로 파악됐다.

민주노총은 조합원 연행 후 즉각 반발 성명을 내고 "최저임금 수준 논의는 시작도 못한 채 업종별 차별적용 논의만 지속되고 있어 노동부 장관에 면담을 요구한 것"이라면서 "연행자를 즉각 석방하라"고 촉구했다.

또 "물가폭등으로 생존 위기에 몰린 노동자들이 최저임금 대폭인상과 업종별 차별적용 중단을 요구하는 것은 당연하고 정당하다"고 강조했다.

민주노총은 이날 오후 연행된 조합원의 석방을 요구하는 기자회견 등 단체 행동에 나서겠다는 방침이다.
