지난해 말 보이스피싱 조직원 A씨는 성매매 업소 사장을 가장해 업소를 방문한 사람들에게 연락했습니다.

"제가 방마다 다 소형카메라를 설치해서 성매매 장면을 다 찍었거든요."

돈을 안 보내면 가족과 지인에게 동영상을 유포하겠다면서 다른 조직원을 옆에 두고 연기까지 했습니다.

보이스피싱 조직원 A씨
"대답 안 하실 거면 영상부터 올려드릴게요.막내야 단톡방 만들어서 영상 올릴 준비해라."

보이스피싱 조직원 B씨
"예.바로 준비하겠습니다."

하지만 실제로 촬영된 영상은 없었습니다.

국내 성매매 업소에서 보관하던 이용객 연락처를 확보해 무작위로 전화를 돌렸던 겁니다.

이들은 중국에 사무실을 차려놓고 기업처럼 팀을 짜서 조직을 운영했습니다.

이런 수법으로 지난해 7월부터 12월까지 총 40명에게 9억 6493만원을 뜯어냈습니다.

조직원 4명은 범죄단체활동,카지노 골드사기 등의 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌고,카지노 골드법원은 팀장급 조직원에게 징역 8년을 선고했습니다.

함께 기소된 다른 조직원들은 징역 3년,카지노 골드2년형을 받았습니다.
