과학기술 글로벌 R&D(연구·개발) 집행·성과를 관리하는 협의체인 '글로벌 R&D 협의체'가 19일 출범했다.

과학기술정보통신부(과기정통부)는 19일 임요업 과학기술혁신조정관 주제로 과기정통부,수원역 대전역산업부,수원역 대전역복지부,수원역 대전역교육부,수원역 대전역해수부,국토부 등 글로벌 R&D 주요 6개 부처 담당자 및 현장 연구자가 참여한 '글로벌 R&D 협의체' 제1차 회의를 서울 종로구 국가과학기술자문회의 대회의실에서 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 1차 회의에서는 과기정통부 과학기술혁신본부(과기혁신본부)가 '글로벌 R&D 종합관리체계 구축방안'을 비롯해 각 부처의 글로벌 R&D 추진현황이 공유됐다.

과기혁신본부는 "글로벌 R&D 예산 집행 현황을 총괄하며 관련 예산이 차질 없이 집행될 수 있도록 주기적으로 점검해 나갈 것"이라며 "우수성과 창출 확산을 위해 우수 국제공저논문 실적이 있는 연구자에게는 평가 가점을 부여하고 후속 과제 연계한 지원책을 마련할 계획"이라고 밝혔다.

아울러 글로벌 R&D와 관련한 지표,수원역 대전역주요 정책,수원역 대전역연구성과를 한 번에 확인할 수 있는 웹페이지를 개설할 예정이라고 말했다.

회의를 주재한 임 과학기술혁신조정관은 "관계 부처,연구관리전문기관,현장 연구자와 소통하면서 체계적으로 글로벌 R&D를 추진하기 위한 기틀을 다지겠다"고 전했다.
