원자력환경공단·대자원 자립준비청년 지원 MOU 체결

한국원자력환경공단은 2일 경북 경주 본사에서 아동복지시설 대자원(원장 조영제)과 자립준비청년을 지원하기 위한 협력체계 구축 업무협약을 체결했다.

자립준비청년은 보호대상아동(보호자가 없거나 보호자가 양육하기에 어려움이 있어 아동복지시설,박건우 야구위탁가정에서 보호되는 아동)이 만 18세 직후 또는 보호기간 연장 후 보호가 종료되는 청년을 뜻한다.

자립준비청년에 대한 국가 지원은 점차 확대되고 있지만,박건우 야구여전히 진로설계 및 심리적 안정을 위한 지원과 보호자 부재,박건우 야구경험 부족으로 인해 사회생활을 영위하는데 필요한 기초 지식 교육이 절실한 상황이다.

이번 협약을 통해 공단은 대자원 자립준비청년 지원사업 프로그램인 Safe Klover를 운영한다.

Safe Klover는 안전(Safe)하게 아이에서 어른으로 '클'수 있도록 'K'ORAD가 사랑(Love)과 관심을 보내는 의미로 세잎클로버의 꽃말인 '누구나 누릴 수 있는 행복'에서 착안했다.

공단은 자립준비청년의 진로설계를 돕는 직무멘토링과 함께 정서적 고립감에서 벗어날 수 있도록 정서멘토링을 실시하는 등 체계적인 돌봄지원을 추진한다.

또 보이스피싱이나 전세사기 등을 예방하기 위한 경제지식 기초교육과 실질적 취업으로 이어지는 인턴 체험 기회 제공 및 역량강화 워크숍 등도 지원할 예정이다.

김용완 한국원자력환경공단 부이사장은 "경주지역 자립준비청년과 따뜻한 마음으로 소통하고 심리적 안정과 진로선택의 질을 높이는데 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
