미등록 대부업 연간 허용 이자율의 1천800배…피해자만 350명

(수원=연합뉴스) 김경태 기자 = 경기도 특별사법경찰단은 올해 1월부터 불법 대부 행위에 대한 수사를 벌여 돈을 빌려주고 법정 금리 이상의 고액의 이자를 받은 대부업자 8명을 검거했다고 10일 밝혔다.

특사경은 대부업법 위반 혐의로 이 중 3명을 검찰에 송치했고,사람 월드컵나머지 5명은 수사가 마무리되는 대로 추가로 송치할 계획이다.

이들은 연 이자율을 최고 3만% 넘게도 받았는데,사람 월드컵확인된 피해자만 350명에 이르는 것으로 조사됐다.

수사 결과,사람 월드컵미등록 대부업자 A씨와 B씨는 인터넷 카페에서 대출을 원하는 피해자들에게 접근해서 한 주에 대출 원금의 5~10%의 이자를 받는 방법으로 피해자 210명에게 1천172회에 걸쳐 5억4천만원을 대출해줬다.

이후 이들이 돌려받은 돈은 6억7천만원으로 연평균 이자율 4천659%,사람 월드컵최고 연 이자율 3만6천500%에 해당하는 1억3천만원의 이자를 받았다.

대부이자 계산법(납부이자율＝납부이자÷대부금액÷사용일수×365일)은 대부업법에 근거해 산출된다.이자제한법령상 미등록 대부업자의 경우 연 20%를 초과하는 이자를 받을 수 없다.

또 다른 미등록 대부업자인 C씨는 사업자금이 필요한 자영업자들을 대상으로 총 43억원을 대출해주고 수사망을 피하기 위해 원금의 10%와 일정 치의 이자를 선공제한 뒤 대출금을 제공하다가 적발됐다.

등록 대부업자는 D씨는 E씨와 함께 스크린 경마장 인근에서 홍보용 라이터를 보고 찾아오는 피해자 32명에게 380만원을 대출해주고 500만원을 상환받았다.

경기도 특사경은 불법 사금융 피해신고센터(gfrc.gg.go.kr)를 운영하고 있으며,사람 월드컵전화번호 차단 시스템을 통해 올해만 588건의 불법 대부업자 전화번호를 이용 중지 조치했다.
