[청주=뉴시스] 조성현 기자 = 온라인 게임상에서 다른 이용자를 수백차례 비방한 20대에게 벌금형이 선고됐다.

청주지법 형사5단독 정우혁 부장판사는 스토킹 범죄의 처벌 등에 관한 법률 위반 혐의로 불구속기소 된 A(27)씨에게 벌금 300만원을 선고했다고 13일 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난해 6월부터 약 한 달간 다중접속역할수행게임(MMORPG)에서 다른 이용자 B씨를 221회에 걸쳐 비방한 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌다.

B씨가 게임을 못한다는 이유로 지속적인 훈수를 두다가 친구 차단까지 당한 A씨는 게임을 하던 중 B씨를 만날 때마다 이 같은 범행을 저지른 것으로 조사됐다.

정 부장판사는 "피고인이 계획적·악의적으로 이 사건 범행을 저지른 것으로 보이는 점,메이플랜드 슬롯피해자로부터 용서받지 못하고 초범인 점 등을 종합해 형을 정했다"고 판시했다．
