[파이낸셜뉴스] 독일 완성차 업체 폭스바겐과 아우디의 수입사인 폭스바겐그룹코리아는 14일 홈페이지에 자사 전기차에 탑재된 배터리 제조사를 공개했다.앞서 BMW코리아,메르세데스-벤츠코리아,한국 월드컵 본선진출폴스타코리아,볼보자동차코리아 등이 배터리 제조사를 공개한 데 이어 폭스바겐과 아우디까지 가세하면서 수입차 업체들의 정보 공개가 이어질 것으로 보인다.

폭스바겐그룹코리아에 따르면 폭스바겐과 아우디 전기차에는 LG에너지솔루션과 삼성 SDI 등 모두 국산 제품이 장착됐다.

세부적으로 폭스바겐 ID.4에는 국내 LG에너지솔루션의 배터리가 탑재됐다.

아우디의 전기 세단 e-트론 S(스포트백 포함)에는 삼성SDI 배터리가,전기 스포츠유틸리티차(SUV)인 Q8의 경우 50 e-트론 콰트로,55 e-트론 콰트로(스포트백 포함) 등 모든 트림에 삼성SDI 배터리가 장착됐다.

e-트론 50 콰트로(스포트백 포함),e-트론 GT 콰트로,RS e-트론 GT 콰트로에는 LG에너지솔루션 배터리가 들어갔고,한국 월드컵 본선진출전기 SUV인 Q4 e-트론(스포트백 포함)의 배터리도 모두 LG에너지솔루션 제품으로 확인됐다.e-트론 55 콰트로(스포트백 포함)에는 LG에너지솔루션과 삼성SDI의 배터리가 함께 탑재됐다.

한편,정부는 지난 13일 정부서울청사에서 방기선 국무조정실장 주재로 관계부처 차관급 회의를 열고 국내에서 판매되는 모든 전기차의 배터리 정보를 제조사가 자발적으로 공개하도록 권고하기로 결정한 바 있다.
