고속버스에서 여성 승객이 옆자리에 앉은 20대 남성에게 성추행을 당했습니다.
남성은 도착지 터미널에서 대기 중이던 경찰에 현행범으로 체포됐습니다.

경찰이 고속버스터미널에서 누군가를 기다립니다.

잠시 후 한 여성이 먼저 내리면서 울음을 터뜨리고,프로야구 중계권 티빙뒤따라 내린 20대 남성을 경찰이 에워쌉니다.

성추행 현행범으로 체포하는 장면입니다.

- "20대 박 모 씨는 광주에서 출발해 전주로 가는 고속버스 안에서 옆자리에 앉은 20대 여성이 잠든 사이 신체를 만진 것으로 파악됐습니다."

피해 여성은 휴대전화로 경찰에 신고했고,프로야구 중계권 티빙경찰은 버스가 전주에 도착하는 시간에 맞춰 터미널에서 가해 남성을 붙잡았습니다.

▶인터뷰 : 당시 고속버스 운전기사
- "뒤쪽에서 악쓰고 싸우는 목소리가 있었거든요.아가씨가 이미 112하고 부모님에게 전화해서…."

박 씨는 경찰 조사에서 잘못을 인정한 것으로 전해졌습니다.

▶인터뷰 : 경찰 관계자
- "(성추행) 행위가 있긴 있었죠.그러니까 저희가 현행범으로 체포한 거니까요.행위는 있었죠."

경찰은 박 씨를 성추행 혐의로 입건하고 정확한 사건 경위를 조사하고 있습니다.

국민권익위원회는 최근 성추행 같은 긴급 상황에 대비해 고속버스나 시외버스에 비상벨을 설치하도록 국토교통부에 권고한 바 있습니다.
