2021년부터 2년간 무상증자 정보 활용미공개정보를 이용해 부당이득을 챙긴 KB국민은행 직원 A 씨가 구속됐다.

11일 금융감독원 자본시장특별사법경찰(특사경)에 따르면 서울남부지방법원은 자본시장법 위반 혐의를 받던 국민은행 직원 A씨의 구속 영장을 발부했다.A씨는 자본시장법을 위반해 약 60억원의 부당이득을 취한 혐의를 받는다.

A씨를 포함한 국민은행 증권대행 업무를 보던 직원 상당수는 지난 2021년 1월부터 2년간 미공개 중요 정보를 이용하면 안 된다는 자본시장법을 위반했다.

이들은 무상증자 업무를 대행하는 과정에서 규모와 일정과 같은 정보를 사전에 확보한 뒤,2022년 프로야구 2차신인 드래프트결과본인 혹은 가족 명의로 해당 종목을 직접 매수한 혐의를 받았다.이런 방식으로 취득된 부당이익은 약 61억원 규모다.이에 따라 총매매 부당이익은 127억원 규모로 전해졌다.

특사경은 지난해 8월 KB국민은행 본사 사무실을 압수수색 해 관련 자료를 확보했다.
