일본 최대 노동조합 조직인 '렌고'(連合·일본노동조합총연합회)는 오늘(3일) 봄철 임금 협상인 춘투(春鬪)를 통한 평균 임금 인상률이 5.10%로 최종 집계됐다고 발표했다고 아사히신문이 보도했습니다.

월평균으로는 1만5천281엔(약 13만1천원) 올랐습니다.

렌고 산하 기업에서 춘투 평균 임금 인상률이 5%를 넘은 것은 5.66%를 기록했던 1991년 이후 33년 만입니다.

렌고는 이달 1일까지 임금 인상률을 제시한 산하 5천284개 노조를 대상으로 결과를 집계했습니다.

조합원 300명 미만인 중소기업 3천816곳의 평균 임금 인상률은 4.45%로 300명 이상인 대기업 1천468곳의 5.19%보다 0.74%포인트(p) 낮았습니다.

올해 임금 인상률이 높았던 것은 고물가와 노동력 부족으로 춘투를 앞두고 노사정이 모두 큰 폭의 임금 인상을 촉구한 데 따른 결과로 풀이됩니다.

높은 임금 인상률이 향후 실질임금 증가로도 이어질지 주목됩니다.

후생노동성에 따르면 물가 변동을 고려한 일본 노동자들의 실질임금은 지난달 발표된 '4월 근로통계조사'까지 25개월 연속으로 전년 동월 대비 감소했습니다.

종전까지 실질임금이 가장 오래 감소한 기간은 2007년 9월부터 2009년 7월까지 23개월이었으나 올해 3월부터 역대 최장 기록을 새로 쓰고 있습니다.
